"Deep Crawl" Web Monitoring
The great majority of competitive telecom & cable pricing information is first published on the corporate 
website of each service provider.
The problem, however, is that this information is often buried deep in the site - perhaps even in the shopping cart - and in order to get it, you often have to go through complex routines that include entering data (e.g. customer address) into forms, selecting certain options, etc.
To address this problem, Telogical has developed a web monitoring tool that is capable of navigating through these complex layers of a telecom or cable company's corporate website and capturing every change that occurs on a daily basis. Additionally, each change occurring on the page is highlighted to allow our researchers to more easily identify the change.
Telogical's web monitoring tool is able to monitor virtually any type of information that resides on a website including .pdf documents (an important consideration for tariff monitoring).
Using this technnology, Telogical currently monitors approximately 30,000 unique web pages each day.

Highly Expressive: In other words, the structure of the data matches up very closely with what occurs in reality. For example, let's say that a given service provider charges one price for Internet access when sold as a stand alone product, but offers a $5 discount when this product is bundled with certain phone, video, or wireless plans. Rather than footnoting this rule in a text field, our information model actually captures the business rule.
